Aisha is a junior at the University of Minnesota pursuing a BA in Political Science with a focus on political economy. She serves as an undergraduate leader on the Twin Cities Sustainability Committee, and as Vice President of Operations for 180 Degrees Consulting, where she supports nonprofit, and social enterprise initiatives. Outside of UMN, Aisha has worked on human rights policy at The Advocates for Human Rights, focusing on state-level efforts to mitigate human trafficking, and on immigration-related issues with the Office of Senator Amy Klobuchar. She is passionate about climate governance and hopes to advance environmental policy through legal and regulatory frameworks. When she's not working on policy, you can find her exploring new coffee shops in the city.
