Jackson Saueressig is a first-year transfer student at the University of Minnesota pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. As an advocate for sustainability, Jackson has developed an interest to educate and foster open conversations about building a greener future. He wants to use his passion for communications to progress a more equitable and environmentally just society. Jackson is excited to contribute towards the goals and commitments of the Office of Sustainability through social media, writing, and graphic design.

Jackson is from Rochester, Minnesota where he enjoys hiking and photographing the landscapes he has grown to love. He enjoys digitally manipulating his images to create unique works with a story behind each piece. He likes traveling to many of the national parks across the country where he can appreciate the diverse ecosystems that have been protected for generations.
