Kate Gerber is a third year at the University of Minnesota pursuing a major in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management with a focus in conservation management and corporate sustainability. She previously worked on the 2023 Climate Action Plan with the UFleet group as well as the 2024 Resilience and Adaptation plan and is thrilled to return to the Office. Outside of school, Kate is involved in other environmentally minded extracurricular activities such as the Environmental Student Association and Outdoors Club. In Fall 2024, she studied abroad in Freiburg, Germany, and is eager to bring back new sustainability skills and ideas. In this role, she aims to connect the broader student community with the Office of Sustainability and keep working towards a sustainable future for all. In her free time, Kate enjoys exploring the Twin Cities, reading, watching movies, and finding fun crochet projects online but rarely attempting them.
