Matthew serves as the Sustainability Coordinator for the Office of Sustainability at the University of Minnesota Duluth. They work to help students effect change on campus and facilitate informal education on sustainability. Before coming here, Matthew was an AmeriCorps service member in California as an outdoor and garden educator. They graduated with a BS in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from Northern Michigan University. In their free time, Matthew hikes, reads, and makes folk music.
